Twilio IoT is now part of KORE

Under Construction

Pardon our mess. We're in the process of migrating our docs over from Twilio. Many links below will take you to Twilio's docs pages. If you notice any issues, please contact KORE customer support.

To learn about upcoming changes that you will need to make your applications check out our Twilio to KORE Migration Guides page.

KORE acquired Twilio's IoT business unit ("Twilio IoT") on June 1, 2023. This was originally announced in March 2023.

Don't worry though! Until comparable experiences are available through KORE, you will continue to use the Twilio Console and APIs to order SIM hardware and manage your devices and connectivity just like before. Additionally, we plan to continue to release new features, accessible through Twilio, while we transition our team and infrastructure to KORE.

As we get closer to enabling you to manage your Super SIMs, Programmable Wireless SIMs, Microvisor devices, and Programmable Asset Trackers (collectively our "Twilio IoT products") through KORE's Console and APIs, we'll send out announcements so you can begin planning any changes you need to make.

We're excited to see what we can all build together.

If you have any questions, please contact your IoT sales specialist or customer support.

To get started using products like Super SIM, Programmable Wireless, or Microvisor, you will need to first create a Twilio account, which you will then link to a KORE account. You will launch the KORE account creation process from the Twilio Console so that we know which accounts to link together. Your usage of these Twilio IoT products will be charged to your KORE account even though you will manage them through Twilio's Console and APIs for now. You can follow this step-by-step guide to create and link your accounts.

And if you don't have a Twilio account yet, you can sign up for one for free.

You do not need to upgrade your Twilio account to be able to use Twilio IoT products. You can leave it as a free trial account. But remember, you must keep your Twilio account active and in good standing to be able to access the Twilio Console and APIs you'll need to manage your Twilio IoT products. All Twilio IoT product usage will be billed to your KORE account regardless of your Twilio account status.

Pricing

You can find our self-service pricing for Super SIM on our website. For other products or to discuss volume pricing, talk to sales.

Additionally, you can learn more about how pricing and billing works for Super SIM here.

Self-Service Limitations

While the Twilio IoT team and infrastructure transitions over to KORE, some IoT product functionality has been limited for users that do not have a contract for services in place or are actively engaging with our sales team. If you find your experience with our IoT products too restrictive and you need to be able to order more SIMs or use the limited features to their fullest, you can talk to sales and the limits can be lifted.
