New KORE Super SIM SKU & IMSI Update - June 2026
We are constantly working to improve our connectivity footprint so our customers can deploy IoT solutions globally with confidence. As part of that effort, we’re upgrading the network profile for all new KORE Super SIM cards.
Beginning July 2026, legacy 4-IMSI Super SIM SKUs will be transitioned to end-of-sale, and we will start rolling out replacement KORE Super SIM SKUs with an improved 3-IMSI mix and new IMSI sponsors. The change in the Super SIM IMSI and sponsor mix will improve Super SIM performance and reliability, enhancing connectivity resiliency. New Super SIM orders placed on or after this date will, based on the rollout schedule below, ship with the updated 3-IMSI profile SKUs.
Here’s what’s behind the change, what’s changing, what stays the same and, most importantly, any actions you might need to take.
TL;DR
KORE is updating the Super SIM network profile and issuing new SKUs. Highlights and required actions are summarized below:
Existing deployed SIMs will not be affected.
Only newly ordered SIMs will carry the updated profile.
New SKUs will replace legacy SKUs over time.
Orders will be fulfilled with the updated versions as they become available.
IMSI prefix values will change on new SIMs, but ICCID prefixes stay the same.
The network name (SPN) will change to reflect the updated branding from
TwiliotoKORE Super SIM.
What’s Behind the Change
The KORE Super SIM is transitioning from a 4-IMSI to a 3-IMSI network profile, a change that will apply to all new SIM orders, including physical and downloadable versions. The new 3-IMSI network profile will include new Tier-1 IMSI sponsors to enhance resiliency and reliability.
New Super SIM Version & Ordering
The updated SKUs will replace the legacy SKUs on a rolling basis.
SKU replacement timing will vary by product and availability.
New eSIM profile reservations via the UI or the API will be fulfilled with the updated KORE Super SIM 3-IMSI version.

What actions do customers need to take?
For Super SIM Customers with custom logic:
Customers with device firmware or application logic that depends on Super SIM identifiers such as IMSI, MCC/MNC, or SPN do not need to make changes for already deployed devices using legacy SIMs. However, for new orders fulfilled with the replacement SIM SKUs, that custom logic must account for the updated IMSI values, MCC/MNC combinations, and SPN changes described below:
