Upcoming Changes to Developer Experience for Super SIM & Programmable Wireless – April 2024

The following advisory was sent out on May 9, 2024.

Hello,

You are receiving this message because you use Super SIM or Programmable Wireless.

As a user of these products, you’re likely aware that KORE acquired Twilio’s IoT business unit in June 2023. Since then, we have been migrating our infrastructure and operations from Twilio to KORE. As we prepare to complete our transition activities, completely decoupling our systems from Twilio, you will need to make updates to your applications to continue using Super SIM and Programmable Wireless. This advisory is meant to make you aware of important concepts and intended changes that you may need to plan for.

There are 2 critical deadlines that you should use for planning your development work and allocation of resources: November 1, 2024, and May 1, 2025.

For more details about these upcoming changes, refer to our Twilio to KORE Migration Guides page published on KORE’s new documentation hub. You’ll find overviews of changes for:

  • Resource IDs

  • Migrating from Twilio Event Streams

  • Migrating Callbacks and Webhooks

  • Helper Libraries (SDKs)

  • API Authentication

  • API Endpoints

We intend to publish detailed guides on each of these topics to help you navigate the process of migrating your applications to KORE as we complete our development work.

If you have any questions about anything in this email, in our docs, or about the transition process in general, please contact your KORE account representative or KORE customer support.

Sincerely, The KORE Team
