Update on New Super SIM hardware and applets - November 2025

Important: This is an important update to our previous communication from April 2025 regarding the upcoming changes to Super SIM hardware, eSIM profiles, and the applets that power Super SIM.

We are writing to inform you of a change in the timeline for these updates. While we previously announced that these changes would begin in Q3 2025, we are now targeting Q3 2026 to begin implementing these updates. This adjustment will allow us to ensure a seamless transition and to better support you through this process.

Summary of Upcoming Changes

ICCID prefix change: The ICCID prefix on newly manufactured Super SIMs will change from 8988307 to 8910392.

Service Provider Name (SPN) change: The SPN on newly manufactured Super SIMs will change from "Twilio" to "KORE Super SIM."

SIM applet and local command updates: We will be updating the multi-IMSI and over-the-air (OTA) polling applets. This will require changes to your device's firmware if you use the current AT+CSIM commands.

Switch to eSIM (eUICC) hardware: All new Super SIMs will be produced as industrialized eUICC SIMs (eSIMs), applying to all form factors.

We will provide a more detailed timeline and further information as we approach the new Q1 2026 implementation date. We are committed to making this transition as smooth as possible for you.
