Every user account is secured with a password and an MFA option. When you register as a user for the first time, you will be asked to pick a password and an MFA method.

Password Management

When registering for the first time, you must specify a password. This password can be reset at the time of login or when you cannot log in.

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

Every user must specify an MFA option for their login. The default option is e-mail, but you can select others.

To change MFA post-registration, you need to go to My profile.

You can select your preferred MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) method in your profile settings.

e-mail MFA

When this option is selected, we send an OTP code to the email associated with your profile.

SMS MFA

We send an SMS to the phone number associated with your profile.

SMS charges may apply

Authenticator App MFA

You can select Authenticator Apps and click Save to set up the authenticator app as your preferred MFA option.

During your next login, you'll be prompted to set up the authenticator app of your preference. Scan the barcode, then enter the OTP pin from your authenticator app, and submit to complete the setup successfully.

These options are configured during registration or post-registration in your in the KORE Console. Regardless of the choice, a six-digit code must be provided when logging in.
